The International Academy of Wood Science (IAWS) celebrates its 60th anniversary with an international conference on June 1–4, 2026, in Zurich, Switzerland, hosted by ETH Zurich. Research on wood and wood-based products has been highly relevant over the years, but it is particularly significant today, facing climate change, resource depletion, and biodiversity loss.
